Romance?

Has anyone figured out how romance works in this game? Who is and who isn't romancable? What restrictions are there (race, sex, etc)? I mean, there was that one priest girl who joined up and started hitting on MY Eder so I offed her. So that's one (very unwanted) inter-party romance dealt with.

But seriously, someone just tell me which dudes I can smooch already.

Well, there's a fish godlike you can recruit in Neketaka, and he is very flirtatious, haven't found out if it actually ends in any romance yet. He does however have an overbearing god mother who butt in frequently and say "I want better for him than you", so.

You can also romance Xoti it seems. That's what I was doing before Fish Mom said I wasn't good enough, and I just had to rise to the challenge.

EDIT: Can confirm, Xoti has been romanced (my character's female but given her interest in Eder, either gender can romance her prolly). Lots of adorable kissing. Still working on Fishboy. There was also a dialogue option I had early on with Aloth on the boat where I could ask if we were a thing, but I didn't take that because Aloth is a stick in the mud.

I kinda like the mystery so far, unsure what conversations lead to romance or not. At least for now, I dunno. I feel like Xoti is flirting with me but it's hard to tell. I'm still early on so we'll see.

The 4 new characters are romanceable, sex doesnt matter.

Well i wouldn't call Serafen "romanceable" unless you count how quick he is on sharing a bed with you. xD

Romanced Maia as a female fire godlike, so doesn't seem like any race/gender restrictions. Tekehu also hit on me hard as a fire godlike, which seems like it wouldn't work, since he's a water godlike. Wouldn't we, you know, put each other out?

So the ones that carry over aren't? Because I know for a fact that you can flirt with both Aloth and Eder.

A bit off but does Eder have a thing for Xoti? Or is it just a buddy thing. Cause... well... don't wanna romance the girl my bestest buddy is after. Till now my Watcher is keeping his distance just in case.

I remember reading that a russian site said that, but a bunch of other stuff got debunked so I don't think I trust that. I'm also hoping its false, because Eder is top tier husbando. Also I do think Eder and Xoti have a thing for eachother.

Eder doesn't like her (Or maybe just my playthough).
He sees her as a common, naieve youngster and reminds him too much of his old self

Didn't even decide, who I wonna hit on. My character is female orlan. But I see Eder as my bro, and romancing him feels just like romancing your brother. And there is just too much of that fish boy for me. I guess I must stick with Serafen? Yikes. I guess I'll stand single since I'm not fond of mono-gender relationships of that kind.
