Change level scaling setting mid-game?

Hello,

I'm many hours into the game now, and just realized I have full level scaling on. I really would prefer to have that setting off entirely.

But, the setting is now greyed out. I can't seem to change it. I see that when I start a new game I can change the setting right at the start. It doesn't mention the setting can't be changed once the game is started (like it does for PotD and Expert settings).

Is there any way I can change this setting now, hours into the game? Force it with a console command, a save edit, some cheat engine trickery, anything?

I had the same question it seems you can't disable scaling once its enabled really wish it had said that somewhere

I don't think you can change it afterwards.

Cheat engine provides a trainer that can alter the various game stats and effects, but it does not change base settings. Given how it works, it would be hard (or impossible) to find out where and which bit is set.

I went with no scaling myself - I hate level scaling in games, it takes away the sense of accomplishment - and I shall see, if that was a mistake or not ;)

You can somehow dissable it. I started on veteran and level scaling all up. If you change the game difficulty to lower, it does change it i think.

I dont know why, but mine is now dissabled, and i cant turn it back on. Which is anoying. Hope there will be a way to turn it back on... otherwise im gonna start completly new.
