Incredibly low fps
Anyone have a fix for this game? It runs at a low 10 fps no matter what fixes I attempt.
1080, i7 6800k, 16GB RAM
Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Try adding -force-d3d10 in the launch options. I have 980m and i had terrible fps in towns even with everething off exept boyency and wildlife. After adding this line in the launch options i now have stable 60 fps in big towns and even in a big battles (like the first one during the storm) i dont drop below 50 fps. Hope this helps.

Do you have an internal graphic adapter too? Maybe its trying to use that one and is forgetting about your 1080, try forcing it through the nvidia control panel.

Not having any issues. The game seems to be supposed to be locked at 60 FPS, because when you select a resolution and FPS from the drop down menu, all FPS is at 60 FPS no matter the resolution. However, this is not quite true.

If I play the game at 4K it stays at 60FPS, period. If I lower down to 1920x1080, I'm getting avg 85 FPS. I have not seen it drop below 70, even once, but I'm very early on in the game.

The thing is, I cannot tell any difference in the graphics between 1080 and 4K, and I mean none. I have to assume that the game cannot render anything higher than 1080,

I found why this game was running below 30 fps at any settings on my PC. Someone on official Deadfire forum PM me so I should check Bus Interface using program called "GPU-Z". It showed that I installed my GPU in wrong PCIe slot. It wasn't PCI x16. So i switched GPU to proper slot and now Deadfire runs smooth on my gtx 1060. It's pretty amazing. I fixed this issue just before the final of the game and today I will start another run to enjoy comfort 60 frames and all those global illumination.

Switching PCIe slot fix the same issue in Tyranny!
