FPS issue ?

It goes from 16 to 78 high or low setting. My rig is old, but not too bad. Geforce 960, i5-2300, 11gb ram of mixed orphan memory. No problem with fallout 4 or skyrim on medium+ resolution.

Help ?

I get stable 20 fps while loading save immediately after launching the game and it's impossible with my specs (GTX 1060 6GB, i5-7600k 4,5GHz, 16 GB RAM) while people with lower specs run it smoothly.

Are they just asking too much from the unity engine?

I had a huge amount of problems when using it on other games like massive fps drops witcher 2, skyrim SE and POE1 and Grim Dawn.
so I uninstalled and only use the control panel and ingame menus now this seemed to work

For me the best way no more weird frame drops and shutter. usually stable plays like POE2
No sudden drops in 8 hours of play granted I have not be into the major cities yet. but o far I am running 50 - 60 fps even with the Xoti torchs in Eder hands all the time.
And i am on max settings too. only time it dips are in the load scenes and that is ell like a couple of second nothing that bothers me.

i stopped using Nvidia exp as it gave issues to some games. I think it just comes down to this engine, unity is known to have issues. If you have to many saves it can take longer to load or reduce preformance, and thats a problem across alot of unity games.

They defo can improve preformance though, when Poe1 came out i had the same problems, but playing it now i get a solid 80 fps all the time. Only thing is the game looks alot better than poe1 so if they can improve it or not , i guess we're have to wait and see.
