There's no expansions to POE2 yet, because POE2 won't release for 2 more hours...This is the base POE2 game.

PoE2 has a subtitle... "Deadfire"

The answer has been giving a gazillion times already but I'll give it another shot: This is Pillars of eternity 2, the sequel to Pillars of eternity and it's a full game no other games needed.
The expansions will arrive later this year.

It's a full standalone game. Modern video game titles get confusing, particularly with regard to DLC. Deadfire is the core game.

There are future DLCs planned. I'm wondering how they'll name them... Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire: Beast Of Winter?

So basically to /thread this up. PoE 2: Deadfire = PoE 2.

You'll need to own PoE 2: Deadfire(aka PoE 2) to play the DLCs that will be released in the future. :P
