It's a nice buff to use on the created NPC priest I made after killing that annoying ♥♥♥♥.
:D
She says sad stuff now that I dont ever remember her saying in my last playthroughs, she said she doesnt "see the light" in anyone anymore, and that everything is full of darkness. Its downright depressing, makes me sad but I dont know what the heck changed this turn around the game, I did all the same dialogue options and choices, that Im aware of.
If you tell her to release, then you get damage aura unlocked. If you tell her to keep the souls, you get the spell resist aura (possible bug right now, see below). It's the same item, but only one enchantment option will be open. The choice is probably also tied to her ending. She will crave reaping and eventually go crazy if you pick "release souls" .
Both auras get 1% increase per religion skill. Damage aura starts at 1% while resist aura starts at 10%.
Some people have reported that the spell resist aura is resisting your own spells (i.e. buffs, heals), so you may or may not want to pick it right now.
But could someone give a definitive answer to this? Im worried now, Im way past that point but shes said some seriously creepy stuff to me, which has been entirely different than my last times. She didnt do the whole "Watcher! guess what!?" conversation about the dreams being gone, the dreams dont go away.
What I dont get is what changes this, considering I chose all the same options, told her to release the souls, yet she consumed them regardless.
Funny thing is it was actually involved in dialog with Eothas when he teleports you to the Palace. Something to the effect of "are you still the same person that sacrificed a companion" (something like that), said yes, Eothas said "good then this will be easy for you".
There's at least two threads with a lot of details. You may want to check those Justin, some people have made quite good posts about it.
Not exactly. My understanding up to now.
2 light - 1 dark:
Tell her to release: bad ending.
Tell her to keep: good ending.
3 light:
Tell her to release: good ending.
3 dark:
Tell her to keep: good ending (read this, the rest I actually tried)
You need to check the journal after each discussion.
What's the "bad ending"?
Hmm... keeping the sould is the "bad ending" Im fairly certain another person posted 3 dark got her releasing the souls when they told her to keep them. *Quite confused*
She loses her mind
And somehow -given the character- it is very fitting... lol
