Monk abilities with weapons

Do they work with weapons?

Also anyone know of any solid Quarterstaffs in the game?

Wanting to use my Beraths Blessings to give me the +2 to all attributes and make a really powerful Monk/Paladin and wanted to use Quarterstaffs.

I know monks scale way better with unarmed attacks, but man... I feel like kung-fuing it up and cracking skulls with lightning fast Quarterstaff strikes, and keeping myself healthy with Lay of Hands, and Deep Faith.

its should say in the tooltip when you hover your mouse pointer. But, yes, they work with weapons.

yeah, that's for unarmed only, but down the 2 levels of the skill tree, there's an upgrade to let you use weapons instead of your mighty fists.

As an aside, I have found fists to be awesome weapons for the most part, but that is at low level. If you put aside the loss of modal, are fists viable all the way, or do you find weapons to be superior.
