Daze, Immobilize, Sleep
Confused at how these statuses work. I've had a rogue immobilize a caster while he was casting and was STILL able to cast when his turn was up....Had my priest Daze opponents only to be able to continue their attacks on their turn...and shouldn't Sleep give us the Coup de gras chance? I'm playing turn based btw.

Dazed and Immobilized are weaker effects, they don't stop enemies from acting, just from engaging/moving, respectively (and apply -5 Might and +4 Penetration against them / -5 Dex). The next steps up are Dazed < Stunned and Immobilized < Paralyzed, both of which would keep an enemy from casting.

Unconscious/Asleep means they're at 0 Dex and -40 Deflection/Reflex, so your accuracy and thus Crit chance *are* way up from what they'd normally be.

Here's a full rundown, but it's also in the cyclopedia in the game: https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Status_effects_(Deadfire)#Afflictions
