But this.. This aint it.
Delay spell effect is wrong. Concept is wrong. See how pathfinder has done turn based. Sure it has bugs but im talking about technical aspects of it. You should have just mimic that.
And another major aspect that is bad and why I am Not going to play it.
You cant switch between TB and normal. That's bad.
Switch option is awesome, you do not want to spend 5+ minutes fighting 3 trash mobs !
Sooo I have played allot of different D&D video games, or D&D styled turn based, Kotor (Knights of the old republic 1 and 2) were similar to how this pathfinder game did its turn based style,
I agree there is def room for improvement, how ever its a older game at this point and they have already moved on, thus unless we have someone who knows how to code patches and fixes, we are stuck with the way it is....
my only REAL issue with this game was when it comes to NVIDIA GPUS and it didnt matter which one you had, weather it was a 900 series or a 1080TI, there was something w the water, and other things that literally made it run or seem like it was running graphically sooooooooo friggin slow, it was rediculous, someone came out with a work around for it, which meant turning off shadows and other eye candied stuff, I do think they eventually fixed that cause enough people griped at them for it......
but this gtame was pretty fun, either way you ran it.....
the way I did it was ACTIVE PAUSE, meaning I would hit my spacebar at the sight of a enemy, get all my guys set to do they attacks, once each of them did the attack pause again and line em up again.....
You can use the console to swap between turn based & realtime with pause. Advise saving & reloading before and after a swap just in case.
The completed game file does not show up when trying to start a new game in Deadfire. I have noticed that quite a few other people are experiencing the same issue after this last recent update but I have yet to find an official response from any of the developers on the issue, neither here or in the obsidian forums. If we could get a solution to the import issue that would be great. I cant wait to carry over my choices from PoE1 to start a new game of Deadfire thanks!
