How do you lure out enemies?
As my first run, I'm trying to do a solo POTD run ( madman ), but i'm having trouble dealing with massive amount of enemies, and wanted to know if there was a way to lure them 1-2 at a time?

My experience mostly comes from solo-play in PoE 1, but the way that (mostly) worked was either running faster than the enemy and really far away (was pretty easy to do with classes like monk who had extra stride speed), or going into stealth, waiting for the yellow circle to fill, then crawl away while keeping the red circle "balanced" between being noticed and going back into yellow. While on red, the enemy will try to approach you and see what's wrong, so there's your opportunity to lure out a key target.

Sometimes you could also find a choke point where enemies form a nice long line, which helps if you're decently tanky.

But make no mistake, it's not easy in PoE games due to the way enemy groups work. You'll probably have to avoid/stealth through most fights before you level up through quests and get strong enough to take out large groups, or come up with cheese strats for your class that allow you to sustain yourself infinitely (there are videos on Youtube).

Even if you pull a big group, as you run away, some will leave the chase. Though some may re-join, you can usually fight once you have it down to a manageable number on you.

sparkcrackers... or traps. Drop a trap so that an enemy can here it, he'll investigate drop another trap further away but still close enough for the enemy to hear it...keep doing this until the enemy is far enough away from his friends to attack without being able to call for help

buy them or disarm them from rooms, treasure etc.

you can't make them anymore like you could in PoE1. You can make sparkcrackers if you have the right ingredients
