There's a chanters chant called defense from fampyr gaze or something, it's useful.
You can do all of splintered Reef without fighting anybody or just fighting the last encounter too.
I found it at an low level. I am Lev 19 and I need the last black log but I can not seem to be able to find it again. I think it is on the upper left edge of the map I think but I need a little help in finding it again
It's in the south east on the map.
======================================================================
Tips for this encounter:
1. Shark soups, for immunity against intellect afflictions.
2. Accept Copperhead help to weed out the enemy.
3..... I have to admit the enemy on the bridge before entering the crypt is far harder than the Boss themselves.
4. My strategy included:
a) summoner.
b) dichotomous souls (MONK Only)
c) spam hentai tentacles spells.
d) spam wall of force (they somehow won't walk past through it).
The fampyr will knocked you down, you must get up fast and spam summon to get them busy and trim them down.
I got to admit, of all encounter in PoE2 -- THIS one in particular require luck rather than game knowledge.
I mean, I took down Beast of Winter easier than this POS fampyr.
SE????? down by the compass icon? I sure missed that one I will check it out thanks
I want your build or your pre-buffs tips.
Because I have Xoti Monk/Priest, have Storm of Holy Fire, also have plenty of Meteor Shower scroll. It hurts the Fampyr but not nearly enough to halved their HP.
I find wall of many colours to be of tremendous help in this fight, as is setting traps around where you start so that wehne the vampirs jump in the hopefully set them off.
Have everyone else have at least 1 figurine too there are so many things attacking you you really need more bodies out on the field. If you summon them in front of your front line you drop area effects on the undead as they swarm your summons.
Lastly bring the correct potions, and eat/rest somewhere good. I find Konstantin's massage great as it makes you fast and gives a high chance to reflect spells
B:: Be Lv 16+
Third: Dismissal
Enjoy
Using an evoker wizard with the middle salve spell and meteor storm destroys everything. I don't even need to bother with the rest of my team. This is on veteran btw, not path of the damned. I have not beat the game on potd, I'm not a fan of the damage sponge (essentially boss enemies way higher level than the encounter) added to encounters. So on potd I might need to rethink strategies besides "kill them all".
