So what is the point of winning The Game?

In my playthrough I gave my votes to the President near the end for the sake of securing the motorcycle. Then in the end it turns out The Game was completely meaningless, as the money gets spread around to all the contestants.

What happens if you DO win?

Nothing. As far as I can tell the game itself is meaningless but is a device that drives interaction between the characters. Whether you win the game or not the real consequences happen around the relationships you form between the Beauty or the Hacker and what you do during Day 7 after you've recounted your story to the Brother.

I spent every evening with the Beauty, because I found that plotline interesting. Does it make a difference if I spend an evening or two with the other option?

I'm quite certain that you need to win the game in order to secure a specific ending. I'm not going to spoil which one but I was unable to get the necessary option without winning it. You get a number of hints in the very last segment of the game of what you could do with all the money. Even though you won't get it if you win the game it will open another path to earn the necessary money. The ending is definitely worth it so have fun exploring :)

You can get beauty, you can get the stalker, you can get with princess, you can get with a combination of them, you can get none. That is a general summary of the endings.
