i know the game is based around wine, but thats what mods are for? this template your game has seems like it can really be used for a multitude of different growable crops and what they can turn into after processing.
Really neat idea! I'm completely with you on this -- we would love nothing more than a mod community creating extra content around the base game. Look, let's get past EA later this year, and we'll be sure to do our best to make it happen.
Consider it noted.

awesome. yeah i know it's way to early to talk about things like this. but just wanted to put it out there :)
Just an idea for consideration - liking the Ambient Tiles - perhaps once you reach Chateau Level 3 - you could pay to add a chalet on a Forest or Building tile (apologies I just can't bring to mind the name of the plain green tiles - it's after midnight here and Terroir doesn't run on my tablet ) as an extra revenue stream. Of course, these would incur a maintenance cost to keep running, but it might help players make some side cash to allow them to experiment with their wines more. Perhaps Chalet revenue would only work in the Spring and Summer as a method to keep it from being abused?
As I said, something you guys might already have in the works but thought it worth mentioning.
Really wanted to say great work on the game. I could see this become a real timesink, in a good way.
Besides what is mentioned before in this thread, I would like you to concider adding a small stat window in the main screen for how the sales of wines is going so I don't have to go into all the menus for that.
Also a minor bug occured whem buying a tile it was stil white, but was activated.
You said you would be adding steam achievments in a few weeks, does that also come along with cards and badges ? :)
Bonaggy, we've got some really good content coming your way that does the exact thing you're asking for. It's called a Tavern. We're gonna start working on it after we finish up the Bank tonight.
junglund, this is definitely worth considering. We're already introducing a feature where a notification pops up whenever a distributor is free to accept stock, but a more detailed window will really increase the quality of gameplay. As for the bug, I'm surprised to see it still there! We sorted that particular bug out a while back, but it seems it's slipped through the cracks. Would you mind sending us your save file and output_log during a game where this bug happens? It would really help us a lot. Please find the instructions for sending us the files in the sticky on this board.
I'll be honest, whette, we know we have to do cards and badges, but we're doing it kicking and screaming. The answer is yes, eventually -- but achievements will come sooner (before the end of the month). The cards and badges, you'll have to give us some time for that.
Navinod, thank you very much for pointing this out. It was an oversight -- I had forgotten that at maximum relations, the distributors already accept 100% of your available stock. We're going to have to decrease that (maybe to 75% when maxed) so that Hougang's bonus actually makes sense! But yes, you're absolutely right, as it stands, the bonus isn't a bonus at all.
Thank you all so much for the feedback -- it's on our minds!

Don't allow me in the early game to artificially boost my seller's ratings by selling them a few bottles piecemeal.
Don't allow me to trim all the tiles of a variety to nothing but leave one with "light/optimal" foliage to try to work around the weather system. Maybe take an average of all the different tiles to determine ripeness? Or lower the cooldown/force cutting all tiles with workers to prevent this kind of scumming.
Add the option of paying through the nose short term for additional storage when I have a bumper season.
More music tracks please.
Now I wanted to add Syrah wines to my collection and actually already purchased a sandy tile, but I can't plant & use it.
Would be great to add the possibility for a fourth grape type.
I had many suggestions but you already added them, nice work.
So few others:
- similar icon of disease and treatment
- some details when selling wine (total amount per months...)
- quick help button with rules of the game (distributors, renown, the tips forum page)
- progress bar of the month
- buy renown (you also add it with new item) : advertising tv, newspaper, event...
- win renown by participating contest wine show without tasting before.
sorry my bad english...
