For win 7 users: (Might apply to win 10 too, not sure) you can usually run krondor from the launch menu. Some issues with sound, like echoes, I suspect have something to do with multiple processors, that was the main problem with getting Knights of the Old Republic 2 to run as well.
To run Antara (which crashes from the launcher) navigate to the directory the game is in. In my case it is C:\valve\steam\steamapps\common\betrayal collection\betrayal in Antara
-for most of you it will be the same path minus the Valve directory at the beginning, so start in C:\steam go to betrayal collection then betrayal in Antara.
Select the application (.exe) called Antara.exe and right click. Select compatibility (set this to win XP, SP2) and select "Run as Administator". Apply, OK.
Create a shortcut to this file on your desktop. (drag the now edited file to your desktop and select, create shortcut here). Double click to play.
I hope this helps someone!
Both games are quite fun. Skyelander, I'm assuming Krondor is a doxbox release? I still have it from when Sierra offered it for free a while back.
