First off, let's start by addressing some of the most obvious problems :

  • The game will start at windowed mode. Wanna go full screen? Press Shift + F.
  • Can't move your character in combat? Well, you are right. In this game, you fight enemies mainly with your reaction. If they attack, the indicator will show up. Defend by clicking on it. If an opening or two shows up, the button will show up. Attack by spam-clicking on it.
  • Failed to defend when you need to double-click at the indicator? Make sure you do not move your mouse around when you try to double-click at the indicator. Otherwise, the game will count it as single-click two times instead of one double-click.
  • Enemy sprite stacks one on another? Don't rush and click the 'next wave' too soon. Wait for a second or two. This is because the enemy hasn't finished the dying animation. So far, this is the only solution for the problem.
  • Got wounded? Poisoned? When you return to the village, right click on the character's portrait to open the character's info panel. The options to heal your character should be there. Remember, healing your character will costs you some resources.
  • Afraid of losing the items you got in battle? If you don't think you can survive the next enemy wave, press that X button at the bottom right when not in combat to escape and bring your items home.
  • Can't level up a status after you leveled it up a few times? You are right. Every single characters has their limit to level up. But you can increase their status further by finding items in combat. After all, they are just villagers, not warriors.
  • STEAM LINK compatibility? I have yet to know. This game is optimized for PC. Although I saw someone who managed to play it there with no problem, there are also some people who had trouble with running the game.

I'll continue to update the list, most likely. Just keep me informed.

You want to know more about the game? Check the game's facebook and twitter as well!

Hi, Eiji.
I once tried it in a 1.8Ghz processor, and it kinda lags. Honestly, I never tried it in a lower spec. It may still be playable, but expect some lags or maybe crash.

My apologies.

Thank you!

If your game supports multi-threaded calculations it might work well on Quad Core CPUs even if their frequency is low though.

Feel free to add me if you consider a spanish localization :)

Is there a trick to blocking the strong attacks? I'm trying to double teft click but half the time it doesn't seem to do anything.

@Atomic

The thing about defending is that you need to make sure you're clicking at the indicator (the flashing thing below the enemy sprite), not the enemy sprite itself. Most people need some time getting used to it, I believe.
Are there any plans for a Linux version? Would it be possible?

Not going to make any promise here. But I am trying to see if I can port this game to other OS.

Any plans on fixing all the grammar mistakes in the game? They are pretty numerous and egregious.

And wtf ae you supposed to do with the double arrow indicator? One arrow pointing up, and one pointing down. I am not clicking on the sprite, and dealing with the single arrow attacks is a joke compared to whatever that attack is.

Click on the indicator to guard from one enemy is what the tutorial says. When do I click? When it is red, or should I wait right when the red ends, or can I click any time like with the single arrow attack? Am I suppose to double click on the indicator? Or from what I see, am I supposed to click above the indicator followed by clicking below the indicator?

The tutorial is not helpful at all for a game with this type of mechanic. Why not show the proper way to block attacks, by showing where the mouse pointer should be, and when to click? As it is right now, the game goes much further into needless frustration, than it can ever hope to make up for in fun.

I see there are people like you who are so confused to the level of frustration. I am probably going to upload a downloadable readme at the store page. Might as well update the in-game tutorial.

Thank you for the feedback, though.

As for your confusion about the indicator :

When the indicator under the enemy appears, you need to left click / double left click it. If you take too long to do that, the indicator disappears and the enemy will attack you. That's where the reaction-based gameplay comes in. You need to be quick and responsive to do this.

Indicator with one arrow means one click to defend from that enemy.
Indicator with two arrows means double click to defend from that enemy.

So the goal is to immediately click once or double click on the icon as it appears, not react to it changing colors in any way?

Why not just say that in the tutorial? "To defend against an attack, immediately attack as the enemy attack icon appears."

Saying "Learn to guard yourself AT THE RIGHT TIME and counter until you can deliver the killing blow." really lead me to believe that just clicking immediately as the icon appears is NOT the right time. The all caps especially made me feel like there was some secret I should be looking for, to get counter attacks off for get that killing blow.

Definitely should specify what "right time" actually means for this game, cuz I thought I should be trying to defend as the enemy is right about to attack, so as to riposte and counter the attack, like the tutorial implies I need to do, to get a killing blow.

The two arrows meaning double click, and 1 arrow means a single click, like you said, but is there a penalty for always double clicking? If there is no penalty for always double clicking, that could be an exploitable bug.
