Maybe try and load the Autosave
Were you able to load your game from the autosave file (the 4th slot) or a previous save by chance?
And thank-you, I'm so glad you're enjoying the game so far!
I manually saved in a new file slot after this bug happened, so I can provide that (if someone tells me how) (and if it's needed).
I wish I'd known that Patient Lounge decorations can't be moved after they've been placed. I love messing with decorating in Animal Crossing etc. so I was like OO YAY DECORATING!:D And when I was little, in my family we'd play boardgames like chess and monopoly on the floor, so that spot between the two floor cushions seemed perfect for the chess board...Oops.XD
Haha that is awesome :) Yes, it is a bug, thank-you for finding it! I personally tested all the other items (the Tanabata tree, the bean bags, etc.) but somehow I overlooked placing the chessboard >_<; I've changed it so the chessboard is no longer "impassable." This will be reflected in the latest patch!
Ahh I know what you mean! I play Animal Crossing almost every day (I love that game)! Perhaps in the future I will make a game with more flexibility concerning moving furniture around :)
