Expert Marksman bug
Is it simply useless? I mean headshot doesn't count as single shot?

At this point in time, yes, it is a waste of a perk. Single shot attacks to not make use of it and pistols already have the property of not ending a turn on use.

not true, it works with smg/rifle/shotgun just fine

Lol! So it’s basically just like Actor now in that it doesn’t do anything either

Actor still does something.

Does it work on sniper? if I use single yes but if I use headshot it doesn't
rzL Aug 30, 2018 @ 3:18pm
dunno, but snipers should be 1 shot per turn anyway imo, being clunky weapons in general, same as the lmg who only have full auto, you're basically trading flexibility for higher damage

It affects only SINGLE SHOTS, not bursts, not fullauto, not abilities.
And its actualy pretty useful for sniper rifles, shotguns and single shots of ARs can lower down target's awarness quite well.

If you think doing a single shot from a weapon other than a pistol, then being able to move is useless, then it is.

It didn't when I tested it. Do you remember what weapon you used when it worked for you?

i chose weapons that my agents were proficient in, maybe that matters?

It also works with weapons you are not proficient in.

The best use for the perk I found was by combining:
- a Sniper Rifle you are proficient in
- Tranqualizer Dart weapon mod
- Expert Marksman perk
- Easy Kill (from Rapid Dominance Tactics)
- Killing Spree (from Shock Tactics)

Just run to an enemy and kill him with a point blank (always hits) single shot (no headshot!). The tranqualizer dart stuns the enemy even if it kills, this triggers Easy Kill, which gives you 1 AP and 1 FP back. Killing Spree then regenerates awareness for you and Expert Marksman lets you continue your turn. Then just use your new AP to run to the next enemy or at least flank them and kill him with your new FP. Do this again and again until all enemies in range are dead. My best score was killing 10 enemies in 1 turn with 1 agent.

Except it does.

You can fire with a shotgun (or an assualt rifle, or a sniper rifle) and you won't end your turn, which is pretty useful on its own. Additionally you can fire more than once, which comes in handy after you get an agent who has more than one AP.

Pistols are also very weak at range and not as versatile as other weapons that have a single fire mode.

Forgot about Exertion. Probably could have done better than your 10 :)

It is sad though, Expert Marksman everything but sniper headshot benefits.
