Agents leaving / returning
Regarding those random plots for some of your guys, where you are presented with a choice, I'm guessing the ones that cost money actually lead to a "good" ending, correct?

So my main infiltrator was diagnosed with depression so I paid him 1000 bucks and let him chill out of the office or something. He left the team and now after several days I start to worry whether he's actually coming back...

They usually come back. But sometimes they return as a mole.

I can not say for sure as I have not had that one in paticular, but all of the events I ran into seemed to work out that way. I would pay big bucks for the last option. I would get a seemingly bad result, then a few days later the bad result was actually a good one in the end.

Who knows, it could all be random as well.

Nope, not always the case.

I had agent who wanted to leave to get revenge and kill somebody.

I had option to let them leave (free) or pay 1000 for contract killer.

I let them leave, they came back later and gained 'loyal' trait, so she never betray me ever.

I had one where an agent was complaining of being tired. You could let them leave for free and take time off to rest, or pay to run a battery of medical tests on them.

I paid for the tests and she took 40hp of damage and ended up in the med-bay for a few days. I just said what the hell and continued on playing.

Lo and behold a week later the test results came back as cancer, but the test caught it soon enough to operate and save the agent.

This is a pretty cool meta-game to be honest. Also FYI - my dude returned after a couple more days, refreshed, happy and with loyality perk, so it was worth it in the end.

I had one where my guy got himself arested. I took the middle option ($200) instead of $1000 + danager. I don't know what the 1000 would have been. But the middle option ended up getting me $1000 back as his cell mate told him where is stolen treasure was and a loyal perk. So most expensive isn't always best.

Lol, sure medic drugs so he last longer, you should get a later breakout event for your punishment. :-)

I know you thought did well, what they say? The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

@astromonkey, I had the same exact thing, I decided not to pay treatment. Everything seemed fine, but then days later then ended up killing themselves so.....
