high dpi mode?
Hello,

playing on surface pro, at native res, the interface is too small, especially for reading the texts.
Changing to other resolutions (equivalent of 1080p or 720p), it's better although it makes everything a bit fuzzier. The part picker is also cut off by the instructions part. It's just missing some labels at 1080p, but at 720p, a whole panel is hidden.

Would that be possible to change the scale of the interface independantly from the resolution?

regards

I second this request. I was squinting in windowed mode on my retina MBP. Didn't matter what resolution I picked, the text was always too small to read.

i'd like to see this too, playing at 3440x1440 kinda makes everything a bit too small. Would love a zoom feature and interface scaling.

I would like to see some UI scaling options too. I have three different laptops and the text is almost unreadable on all three of them at their native resolutions:

1) 13" rMBP. 2560x1600.
2) 7" GPD Pocket. 1920x1200.
3) 15" msi GS60. 3840x2160.

On all of them I can drop the resolution to 1440x900 (#1 and #2) or 1920x1080 (#3) to make text readable, but then everything looks blurry and really bad compared to high resolutions. Because of that I don't really want to zoom in on anything other than dialogs and menus, but I suppose ideally we could scale different parts of the UI independently.

Same here, playing on 13'' MBP @ native 2560x1600 makes the text unreadable for me.

Great game though,
although playing it on lower resolution makes me lose some real estate for the actual game, which on some of the bigger puzzles is really needed

They said they wont fix it.

I wish I could support this game, but sorry, not everyone uses a 1080 monitor. Kind of pathetic to not take into account multiple resolutions these days.

That's weird. It should just map a single pixel to a 4 pixel square, which does not look blury, just a bit more chukier. Same mapping can be found on Retina macbooks.

Why not just use High DPI mode? Thats always worked on my surface book.....

Not really. The majority use 1080p. Businesses are really only worried about catering to the majority. Thats how you maximize profits and keep expenses down. Its basic business.

Well, I'm not part of the majority with my 1440p display and not so great eyesight. If it doesn't scale properly, and I'd end up with a headache, I'll skip the purchase. I do appreciate that this is being discussed and that the devs apparently clearly stated that they won't address this. I may not agree with the approach, but I value honesty.

Well, that is good to know. I will wait then, becasue this is the typical game i play on my rMBP.
