Climbing rope fiber product failure?
I've only recently purchased this game and have been thoroughly enjoying it, but i've gotten really frustrated in particular with the climbing rope fiber puzzle on chapter 3.

I recorded this gif because for whatever reason the game isn't registering the correct product I have at the end at all -- I've spent upwards of 2 hours on a few different attempts to make this one work, and I don't see why this solution doesn't count. I've been trying to avoid guides, but considering this and the other continuous product this chapter (Very Dark Thread) having been the ones I can't finish, I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong in it?

Update: I solved it in a much more simple alternative way but I'm still curious why the original didn't work.

It seemed that for some reason, your original solution was putting one of the Salt atoms in the wrong spot, and it was getting attached to the Salt in the row before it, instead of the Air in the middle row behind. So every so many units of length, you had a Salt in the wrong spot.

Unless it's another case of continuous product puzzles simply not recording properly and I'm missing some of your steps (seems likely). If that isn't it, I'm not sure.

The ladder part of the first solution detatched that salt, and reattached it in the proper spot. the arm on the rail in the top right.

Yeah but the gif isn't showing what happens when the first product goes through the machine, and the scoring piece is right there where your debonding takes place.

So who even knows but it obviously has something to do with keeping that extra atom attached until the end.
