This game has fixed-hotkeys, which doesn't work for people using non-QWERTY keyboard layouts. We should have keybind options.

I agree there should be keybind options.

If you have an AZERTY keyboard you can change the option.
Users\[USER]\Documents\My Games\Opus Magnum\[steamID]\config.cfg
and change AzertyKeyboard = False to True

I use UK Dvorak and as a result it would be awsome to be able to rebind the hotkeys to suit my keyboard layout.

Dvorak and Colemak were just added as options in the config file

As a lefty, I would like to play with the numpad, so for my the best option would be to be able to remap the keys.

I don't need to remap it in-game, editing the config file would be just fine.

I have a QWERTZ keyboard. The Y and Z key are interchanged. Please add the QWERTZ to the keyboard settings.

Yo, hijacking this for a round of thread necromancy. I don’t get why people still publish games without customisable key bindings. I’m running an obscure non-standard layout and none of the presets are remotely usable, forcing me to go purely mouse based.

Fortunately I’m used to this and already have an AHK script at hand for cases like this, but come on.

I use my mouse left-handed so it would be much easier for me if I could use keys near the right-hand of the keyboard. I use PL;' for directions in most games, but the punctuation keys can cause problems when used in conjunction with shift, and may not be in the same place in some common layouts. Arrow keys would also be OK, but make it harder to reach other keys.

Basically I'm with @alterNERDtive and @Ntropy, fully configurable bindings are the only way everybody's going to be happy. Editing a text file is acceptable for me too.
