Are there any other games where you type like you do in The House Abandon?
I enjoyed being able to type responses and actions and the game would react as if alive. Are there other games similar to this style?
Preferably a game in "Dark Mode" so I don't stare at a white screen the whole time. I suppose I want more Untold Stories episode 1 The House Abandon.

Thank you in advanced for the suggestions.

You can find a lot of similar text parser games on Abandonware websites.

You should try Zork (just Zork). It is a classic and the most well-known of all.

Wished there was more presentation and visuals like The House Abandon. Most are literally just a screen with text. Would be cool if there was a game where the top of the screen would show what is happening and the bottom would be where you type and read stuff.

There are some Zork games here on Steam too. I'll give Thaumistry and Stranded 2 a try.

one of the best ones I've played is called Subserial Network. it's not on steam though. you can get it on Itch or in the Humble Vault or you might find it on ship somewhere in the sea

You can find the Hugo Trilogy on abandonware sites. Starts with Hugo's House of Horrors, then you play Hugo Whodunit?, and last is Hugo and the Jungle of Doom. Also, if you are looking for some fun free games like that check out Yahtzee Croshaw's games starting with 5 Days a Stranger then Trilby's Notes into 7 Days a Skeptic leading to the final game 6 Days a Sacrifice

Many games in the 80's and 90's were like this, but the best were

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Zork (both by Infocom)
