Elsword Steam FAQ

What will happen when I open Elsword on Steam for the first time?

An account will be created automatically. From then on, you'll be logged in automatically every time you start Elsword in Steam.

Can I link my existing Elsword account to Steam?

It will NOT be possible to link your existing Elsword account to Steam.

Do I have to use Steam in order to play Elsword?

No. Using Steam is optional.

Can I use multiple Elsword accounts on Steam?

No. You can only create one Elsword account through Steam.
But please note that your account can be used in different languages: For example, if you create a German Elsword account, you will still be able to connect and access the 5 other different languages (which are considered as different account), with your Steam account.

Can I dissociate my Elsword account from my Steam account?

Yes, you can dissociate your Elsword account from Steam, but you need to upgrade you account first. Please note that once your account is dissociated from Steam, you will not be able to associate it again.

What will be installed via Steam?

Steam will download the Elsword Client as well as any future updates.

Do I have to re-download Elsword to play it on Steam if I've already got it installed?

Yes, you will need to download it again in order to play Elsword via Steam.

Will a new server be introduced on Steam?

No, there won't be a new server on Steam.

Can I buy El Coins via Steam?

Yes, you can buy El Coins via Steam. Look in the guide called 'How to get El Coins via Steam'. You'll find it in the Community hub in 'Discussions', or via the link in the next FAQ question.
