If you happen to have the sourcecode laying around, and have software engineer experience you might be able to make one yourself :p
But yeah, the only way is Git Gud, sorry :p
The community does not know about any paid for patch or mod ever exisiting in the past for Giants. Neither is their any collective memory of a savegame system.
These are the most notable mods/patches for the game. All of them have forever been free.
- V1.5+: The completed patch currently supporting the game and multiplayer.
The following mods/patches are redundant and no longer compatible with the game as their features have been incorporated into the main patch branch.
- V1.497: The first community patch after the last official V1.4 update.
- GiantsHook: Bugfixes and graphical enhancements.
- GForce 3 patch: Upgraded the game to GForce 3 graphics.
- Giants Enhanced: Mostly enhancements and rebalancing.
- GMM: Giants Mod Manager allowed hosting of custom created maps with Giants Edit Beta.
