Gorogoa really scratched an itch for me that not many other games ever have. Are there any other games that scratch the same itch?

EDIT: By that I mean a "point-and-click puzzle solving" itch.

I swear to you, I am not being facetious when I ask, what exactly you're looking for? Something Story Rich yet Deeply Metaphorical? Moody, and Atmospheric? Gorgeously artistic in ways not commonly associated with modern video games? Clever, intricate puzzles that again, challenge modern gaming's conventions?

There's a lot going on with this title, and what you're looking for is out there... sorta.

Antichamber has some space-warping puzzle-solving like Gorogoa does, though it's a very different game.

Spacechem has 'rearranging pieces in a limited space to solve the current problem/puzzle'. It's more engineering than adventure, and it's not for everyone. From what I hear, all Zachtronics games are like this, though I've only played Spacechem.

Please, Don't Touch Anything has a little of the weirdness that Gorogoa has, and some of the 'all the pieces are here, just figure out how to put them together', though not as literally as Gorogoa. PDTA has a much steeper learning curve to it, and a lot more staring at the screen with no idea what to do next.

I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for. These three games gave me some of the same feelings as Gorogoa, more for the mechanics than the story or art style, and they're all just a partial overlap.

Windosill. It was actually Gorogoa that scratched the same longing itch Windosill left on me. Do yourself a favor and try it, you won't regret it.

If you are looking for surreal dream sequence, try The Dream Machine.
Ok I edited my original post to clarify what itch I want scratched.

The whole Rusty Lake franchise is amazing. It may seem a simple escape room at first sight but I assure you it will be a journey unlike anthing else. I recommend you start with their Free-To-Play Cube Escape series (at rustylake.com) , and then move on to their paid Rusty Lake series that can be found here on Steam.

The last game puzzle solving that let me with strong impression was "The witness".
More point & click : Deponia and Syberia
You still have the famous "Myst", "monkey Island" and "Fable" as old but very good point & click.

The Runaway series are correct and I have also "Machinarium" on ,y wishlist with good feedbakc but never played.

Another great one is the Azada series.

Yes, the Azada series, more story but the first ones may not have aged well.
From Zachtronics, Opus Magnum also has the puzzle-solving aspect but heavy logic, programming-like. I think it's a constant of this studio.
Any recommendations for the more atmospheric/mystical aspect of the game?
Try gnog.

+1 for Machinarium. The puzzles are of the "scavenge and synthesize" variety, not quite as mind-blowing as something like Gorogoa, but still very well made and satisfying. The setting, atmosphere, and mystique are fantastic.

Have you played Monument Valley yet? You might like it, considering some aspects seemed similar to me - brilliant visuals, attention to perspectives, metaphoric commentary and such.

I played Gorogoa a second time a couple of days ago. It's a little masterpiece.

Note that Steam seems to be flagging http://www.rustylake.com/ as a malicious site, I suspect because the SSL certificate on https://www.rustylake.com/ is invalid. Use the 'http' link, and it should work.

https://rankchart.org/tools/ssl-checker/ shows that it has a valid but self-signed (hence untrusted) certificate for the wrong address. Probably their hosting company...

Anyway, if you want to wait a few months, the whole Cube Escape series will be available on Steam, so you don't need to choose between the mobile ports and reinstalling Flash.
