You really don´t know what you are talking about...
I too go on forums and anounce things I'm going to ignore. Makes me feel like people notice me...probably just makes look foolish, though.
If you'll excuse me, I'm about to go to a lamborghini forum and tell them why I can't justify buying one.
Even ubisoft saw a huge market with its previous VR only bridge command. Just make all PC games vr and monitor capable. It's not that big a difference. Probably why vr has stagnated. It insists its, it's own platform.
please reconsider it
I do too. It's funny how people think VR "mode" is literally just like flipping a switch or something. Like: "So lame that this boat can't also fly. Engineers could just slap some wings on it and double profits!"
And I say this as someone who doesn't have PC VR yet. I recently got the PS VR for my Pro. I was extremely impressed. I've been gaming 3D on my PC on the big screen for years, so VR initially didn't impress me. Now it does. With PC my only hesitation is which VR (Hive or Oculus) to choose. I played 100s of hours in Skyrim but in VR it was a new experience. Even patched for Pro enhancements, Skyrim VR on PS4 is a blurry mess. So it's time to put my 1080ti to serious gaming use.
Back to Torn, it looks very impressive. Still it reminds me too much of a tech demo. TBH that's just my initial impressions. Wandering around VR environments can be exhiliarating, but it's much more immersive when there is more to do than look around with limited interactions. Anyway, I look forward to seeing hopefully positive reviews. I should have my PC set up with VR very shortly. And even if I don't, well, I know Torn is available for PS4! I encourage people to embrace VR and not boohoo because you don't have it. If you find a PC VR set up kinda pricey, the PS VR is a great place to start, but just make sure you have a Pro.
Ya know, every time there is a major VR release, like Torn, there’s always one person out there that has to make a topic like this. “IS THIS VR ONLY?” Yes, yes it is....Then inevitably, the dumb comment you made is posted by someone who doesn’t own VR whining about it isn’t fair.
I’ve owned VR for 8 months now and for 8 months, I’ve spent 75%+ of my gaming time in VR. What’s best, is as developers such as Aspyr make a new VR game to add to the growing library of VR games, we hear people who don’t own a VR whine and moan about it , like a child.
Look, if you don’t like or want to own a VR, that’s fine. I get it…it is expensive. It does require a powerful computer…but while small developers are trying to grow the industry and as those of us that DID drop a lot of money, do us a favor and leave us alone.
Sounds like you have your reason. Make the jump. It's worth it. DO IT.
