Whenever you can afford a new level of those gold wise do it before progressing in main game.
When you can afford level 10 in any building its time to get them all to lvl 10 to unlock tier 2.
Get at least 1 point in all good tier 2 buildings (not rage/energy ones at first)
Once you hit Felix get far enough in to afford lvl 20 in tier 2. Max armory, go full pillager and watch the loots build up. Complete Midaeum, Wait for void crystals.
In my current run I'm only a slight variation on that. Spending on most buildings as I go cause I know I'm going to have to anyway
At early Aurelius and sitting with most buildings in midaeum lvl 5-7 (as I could afford loot wise) except sawmill and stables (sitting at 0) as they have been meaningless to me income wise so far. They will both need leveled before my next big push. Currently waiting for loots the past couple of days while building store multiplier. (3.5k% atm. Aiming for 5k%)
The other thing to be aware of is the loot requirement imbalance if you haven't noticed already. Always be running raids from the top down. Never be running raid 4 or 5 if you are only at raid rank 3.
I will be spending a fair few blue stones to trade useless loots to good ones to get all to lvl 10 quickly. Getting to Felix ASAP and starting the void crystals coming in is the priority.
Can see whats coming here
http://midasgoldplus.wikia.com/wiki/Upgrades#Best_Buildings_-_Equal_Cost
Yet we must remember that the twentieth level of each building doubles profit.
So the twentieth level of this two buildings is the best investment as for me .
If you use Raid Loot build, you need reach all 10 buildings to 10 lvl to open Tier 2 Buildings. There you will find Armory ( Increase the effects of Midas' skills ). It seems for me that Armory is very important not only for Raid Loot build but for all builds.
You can check it on the calculator

To do more than 20 raid pushes in order to progress from 5e43 to 1e44 is not well. You are doing something wrong.
Often players ask to help them, but it is impossible because you have to see the figures for aid.
If you ask for help you, this will make it much easier if you do the following steps:
1) In "Settings" you put a check mark on the "Scientific"
2) You do 7 screenshots. To make them you need to open in the upper left corner departments:
- King Midas
- Champion
- University
- Raids
- Upgrades
- Glory
- Artifacts
If you show these screenshots you can always get help
- Store Multi - 4900
- Maxed Artifacts - but no AA
The rest of the screens: below.

Have you done a proper loot fueled push on knowledge? Or several.
Catch up on the sitting diamond researches though. If you can afford them, do them. Worry about doubling before a reset if there are stretches where you can't buy any diamond research.
Edit - quick dump of my stats when I ended Valeria on my steam account. 2,900% multi. Heading to 5k but was falling behind Death2Gnomes:)
Diamond researches top down 31 40 34 39 35.
Knowledge - 44 Shrine, 43 rest. Idle 33 heading to 34.
Midaeum lvl 6 most good buildings. 5 RG, Uni. 0 Stables/Sawmill.
1AA
But i have noticed that it doesn't give me any relevant boost lately.
In short - Your DIA are 1 above mine. (i just unlocked this tier of research)
My buildings are also 1 below yours. And in midaeum i am on the max that i can afford for the good buildings.
So actually - i am not falling behind, and yet - it goes slow?
I didn't track raid loot use but was definitely a fair few more than 20 sets of pushing at the end.
Just don't' be pushing for gold/diamonds while there's relevant researching to be done.
Then knowledge push + research bump.
Then back to progress.
You need 8.0 e30 knowledge for Rangers Guild and 8.0 e30 for Merchants Guild to make them both 44 lvl. After that do not forget in Midas choose Gold specialization + by Champions skills choose 1-2-3.
2) You do not have enough raid loots. So your choice is Idle build. Take best idle build in this calculator https://codepen.io/volv/full/bpwRLL the bottom left
3) You have 2.4 e 113 gold. You need little more to 5.0 e 113 and Merchants Guild will be your favorite building and will make 70-90 % of all damage and your damage will increase significantly.
4) It was wrong spend 6 percent damage of diamonds for up Knowledge Production to 38 lvl + 6 percent damage for Diamonds Value 33 lvl + 6 percent damage for Critical Profits 39 lvl + 6 percent damage for Critical Chance 30 lvl. 6+6+6+6=24. You reduced your damage by 24 percent, and raised only a couple of percent. You can not teach Knowledge Production, Diamonds Value, Critical Chance and Critical Profits if the cost of the study more than one per cent of the amount of your diamonds.
I would like to add.
It is not necessary to develop all the buildings at the same time to the same level.
Some buildings will never bring income more than 0.5%. You've got all the buildings developed almost identically.
I was wondering - while you are in Midaeum - are you using red gems to get some sweet raid loots, or you are saving reds for something later?
