Pedro's World level 1 S rank

Am I the only one that just can't get S rank on this level? I always end up with almost full score bar, but it's never enough for S. Anyone got any tips for beating it?

ah, i'm sorry. There is only fight with time. Somewhere you can use shortcuts, don't use slow motion, etc. I played several times to understand how i can cut timer

You move a little faster when you hop, also do really tiny hops when you want to get rid of a platform underneath you.

There's a few tricks in that level which will give you enough of a time gain to get the S-rank.

I haven't gotten a non S-rank in the last dozens of runs I did on this level.

P.S. Got S rank with 1:49

I got 1:57 and change, and still didn't get S rank, on hard difficulty.

The bar fills all the way up, but it's still just showing A rank. This is driving me crazy now.
I'm not usually one for scores and such, but I have been enjoying trying to S rank the levels so far, but this is just doing my nut in.

You can try to do it on Bananas wobbler, level is the same, but you will get more difficulty points.
