Find the Board Pieces - Quest bugged?
Hi,

I got this quest around 3 days ago, did a lot of sewer strongholds destroying all crates I found, but so far, I have found 0 of these pieces.

Are they bugged and not dropping?

Well, for starters there's no information at all that the pieces are out of the boxes, when all other quests of this type drops their items from boxes.
You are to expect the expected :P

They are not in crates, they are hidden in weird places. Look for small shiny things.

Thanks. Did one looking for these "shiny things" and got 1 in a stronghold. How many can spawn per run, any idea?

Sincerely, to put this kind of exploring activity in a hard grind game like this is some very strange design decision. We need means to be able to farm faster, not to waste even more time trying to find random things scattered in maps with this low spawn rate.:airstrike:

Not all of them are in strongholds :P Look around the sewer map aswell...

And I don't know what the issue you have with that quest is. I like it when the devs do things a little outside the box.

And second, what I said already, who has time to waste looking for things in random points when you could be grinding shards to buy power, or in other words, progress?

If you spend 100% of your time in the game doing nothing but grind - you're burning yourself out. Well, suit yourself.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Thanks for the video. They are in "fixed" places, but I don't have these skills to workaround the bad collision mesh and level design yet. :(

I took my time getting these pieces. As someone who can only play for very small frames of time, I went super slow, getting one or two per session. I use Blink as my evade because it serves as both a good fast transport and can reach some hard to get places easier.

As for the quest itself, this is one of those things you do after the grind, or while resting from the grind. The reward is a single cosmetic so you won't be missing much if you skip it for later.

Just a thought; but instead of having what I call the DSP Syndrome, why not look at this like a challenge; look at what needs to be improved on your character then setting out to achieve what is needed, this way you have a sense of accomplishment when you get it done.

Well, considering the type of content the game has right now, the only thing that matters is DPS to farm gold/shards faster, to allow me to get the materials needed to get better gear and, increase even more my DPS and beat the high level bosses. What else has to be done other than pump damage to kill as fast as possible? The game is too barebone yet.

I don't bother with the doll dressing aspect of the game, or any kind of fashion in any game I play overall. I usually play to beat the challenges the game has only, be it puzzles, management of resources or in the case of this game, grind until you beat the last piece of content available.

Anyways, thanks for the help with the solution of the quest. =)

Do like me and other players, make your own fun. There is enough to be had ;)

it is a open alpha build with five dev's. Patience is the key.

I am being sincere when I say this from one gamers to another; avoid warframe like the plague, because fashion is the games end game, always has been and always will.
