[SOLVED] The new achievements don't work.

Seems like the reason why they didn't work was steam overlay. It didn't appear when the game was on. So I just closed Steam and ran it as admin and that solved my problem. Think it's because when I installed the game and started it Avast anti-virus scanned it and I see other people saying that sometimes this is the problem.
