Motivation of the Warriors of Hope
After finishing the game I can finally safely create this topic.

It's actually been bothering me for a while and I know it's kinda the point of the story or more like the other games have these moments as well. But to get to the point. The only one of the five children that has a legit reason to hate all adults and straight up want to murder them is Utsugi Kotoko. I think I don't have to explain why. Her break-down was hard to watch tbh.

The other four pretty much just had ♥♥♥♥♥♥ parents. Way above average ♥♥♥♥♥♥ parents to be fair but enough to justify them wanting to kill all adults on the planet? One could blame this on them being children, emotionally damaged at that, and therefore don't fully understand what they feel and the likes or they were just manipulated by Junko and later on Monaca... The writing felt somewhat ridiculous or weak nontheless in this case.

Don't get me wrong. Danganronpa isn't exactly normal with its story but I couldn't help but think the whole time "That's what you killed hundreds of adults over?" Sure, it is indescribably ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to grow up beaten daily, being despised by your mother, being forced to work 24/7, being left by your mother and end up in the care of some random guy whose mistress your mother was but how about you just take your revenge or whatever and then stop? What do the other adults have to do with that? The only one who this was different for is Kotoko. There had to be a lot of people involved. Hard to trust anyone after that.

Well. Regardless of that it was interesting towards the end. A lot of additional information for the other games - like finding out who the videos of the first motive showed for all the other characters through the hit lists. Although I kinda wished there was more depth in Nagito's actions but it was just the usual "let's spread despair so an even bigger hope can be born" with less impact than DR2. And Monaca was surprisingly weak. No match for Junko - she had no where near the same resolve. It was fine until the very end but the scene under the rubble was disappointing.

For Monaca, she didn't really care about killing all of the adults, she simply wanted to make things exciting and spread despair, she only used the desire of the other Warriors to her advantage.

As for the others, I think it was also due to the teachers too, since they were considered troublemakers despite their parents being the trouble. Not only that, but the adults they were supposed to love and trust, ended up being the worst. They saw the worst in adults and weren't assumed all adults were like that, they never got to see the goodside of adults. It's like living a childhood where the only cat you have tries to bite and scratch you, it gives the impression to the child that all cats are like that. Not only that, but they got the idea of a paradise for children by Junko, who considering her manipulation skills, could've easily twisted their thinking to think all adults are bad and considering the only adults they knew blamed them or hurt them, it's not too difficult to convince them.
so were just gonna... forget that masaru, jataro, monaca and nagisa were also abused?
