weird graphical bug
Whenever the game fades out to black to load a new scene, there's only black covering part of the screen instead of all of it and I can see stuff I'm clearly not supposed to see like models popping in and such.

I tried a bunch of different combinations of graphics settings but nothing seems to fix this. I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue and if you found a fix for it.

I seemed to have fixed the issue. Leaving my solution here in case this helps anyone else.

If you have a NVIDIA graphics card, make sure you follow this video. However, the additional step that did it for me was to make sure in the NVIDIA Control Panel under Manage 3D settings to change the "Preferred graphics processor" to "High-performance NVIDIA processor".
I am also having this same issue, but I'm using a Radeon graphics card so I'm not sure how to apply this fix. If anyone has any ideas which setting is causing the problem then that would be great.

Sadly I was never able to figure out how to fix it, I just put up with it throughout the game.

I am also having the same issue and I can't find a solution anywhere. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it.

I thought of something that could be a potential solution if you would like to test it:

If you're using Windows 10, type in "Graphic Settings" into the search bar.
On this page, use the "Browse" button and navigate into your Steam folder to find the game's executable. Click "Add". You should now see the game in the Graphics Settings window. Click "Options" underneath it. Select "High performance", then hit "Save". This will force your computer to use your best graphics card while the game is running (this should hopefully fix 3D rendering-related issues such as this one).

Let me know if that works!

Tried it; didn't work. Appreciate the effort though, it was worth a shot.

So I solved my problem.

After countless hours searching, I discovered something called DXVK. Apparently, it's a collection of DirectX dlls intended to allow 3D apps to run on Linux using Wine?

Anyway, apparently it also does wonders for games on Windows too. I took the proper dlls from the set (d3d11 and dxgi), dropped them in the folder with the game exe, and took it all for a test drive.

Glitches are gone. Everything looks as expected. Anyway, hope this helps others in need. Below is the link to the latest version.
