Hopeful vs Best Partners Forever
So I'm still doing some grinding for my last couple achievements in DR2 before moving on to this game. Don't worry about spoilers in my case - I saw all these games on Let's Plays before I found out there were versions to come out on PC (looking forward to DRV3 blind!).

So, I was looking at what I'd need to do to 100% UDG. To have grads of Bs and As in all chapters. How does all that stack up with each other?

Like, if I get all Bs on my first run, it'd be easy enough to play again, more powerful, for As.

However, suppose I get mostly or all As first time through. Would I still get the achievement for Bs because I already crossed the threshold for points? Or would I need to play again and aim for a B? HOW do you aim for a B? Just, I suppose, don't bother with the Hidden Kids? Is there even a method for this?

Just thought I'd ask before I started is all.

In my opinion, I'd say just aim for A from the start. You'd get both achievements if you get an A on all chapters. (I platinumed on my first run on the hardest difficulty + an hour of EXP grinding on PS4)

The game is actually relatively easy, just always aim for Monokuma's red eye and you'll mow through enemies - as well as always being guaranteed a gold Monocoin, eliminating the need to grind for monocoins so much later on. For big fights, use Genocide Jack, as she's invulnerable.

To get an A, you need to find all the Hidden Kids (follow the collectible guide available with a quick Google search, which will also help you with the other collectible-related achievements) not die (which, again, it isn't that hard at all to survive even for a first time player), solve all the puzzles without fail (1 fail allowed on the highest difficulty, 2 on the normal, and 3 on the easy, not sure if it's 3 for easy though, may be 2 as well). If you're about to go past your puzzle fail limit, keep using the 'Retry' function until you solve it, then reload to last save and go back to it and solve it again to ensure you don't lose any points.

Yeah, I'm not worried about getting As. :neildeal: Told me all I need to know in that it counts toward the Bs automatically. Thanks a lot!
