Using the Kusarigama?

So I was excited to see the Kusarigama sickle and chain on the weapon dlc, and tried them out, However I dont know if its just me, but when I hold down the trigger to release the chain, they glitch out everywhere, and its extremely difficult to swing them, nevermind hit anything? Am I being an idiot? And just using them wrong? (Using Rift)

Holding down the trigger should extend the sickle, which you can then flail around, or alternatively you can throw it like the kunai/shuriken, which extends the flail straight forward. Could you describe the glitching effect for you?

I would suggest practicing in the dojo. I had a hard time using the weapons before I practiced a bit in the dojo to really understand the mechanic. I found it best to hold the trigger and swing hard wide arcs to launch it out and aoe takedown a bunch of enemies. It also doesn't take your main slots which is awesome.

The glitching seems to have stopped, and with some extra practice and time with them, throwing them straight foward seems to work fine (although it feels like they should reach slightly further) flailing them in arcs on the over hand just doesnt seem that effective, I think it might be just the way it reacts to your swing, or the range, but the physics seems to be a bit off on them :P
