Considering how this game's launch into EA has went.

No, it's probably not trolling.

Must have missed it.

Well, personally i liked the game somewhat but a lot of people didn't. Probably because their expectations were way too high, thinking this would be the next DBD or something, bunch of idiots if you ask me.

But the main thing was the price. This game was WAAAAAY too overpriced for what it was offering and the free weekend that they held put a lot of people off of the game, including myself. There's no way me and others are going to pay 30 big ones for a repetitive, unbalanced, overpriced piece of trash even if they're using the "EA" card as an excuse. Charging that much is just greed and a lot of people know why. They're cocky and got greedy over the success of Dead by Daylight.

Like i said, i liked the game and could see the potential, but it's trash in its current state and they've got balls charging that much for it and quite frankly, i'm glad the game backfired so hard on them for that. There was barely 500 players during the open testing phases.

Well that sounds like they killed their own game.
Thanks for clearing this for me.

only half the dbd community really knew about it and it cost 30 dollars for barely any content, also didnt interest people like dbd did, also they made it way too competitive

I just checked the charts myself. So I came here to see if anyone else was talking about it. Ya, it is bad. Recently I purchased Soul at Stake, and I was waiting too long in the lobby so I refunded that game. Then I figured that Deathgarden would have way more players. It is way worse on the charts than Soul at Stake. Deathgarden had only 38 players in the past 24 hours while Soul at Stake had 446. I figured no one was playing SAS because it was to easy for survivors to win and too much of a DBD clone, but Deathgarden failed in comparison, and they have better graphics and cost way more. SAS is only 12 dollars. I guess I'll go back to DBD again. Sigh

Most people go into DBD for $10 or $20 and got hundreds of hours of gameplay. THis game was trash in closed beta and nothing changed on release. Glad it died. Put effort into a game and stop trying to reskin for profit. Same thing happened to Raid, the Payday 2 reskin. Glad the community pushes back like this.

I think given some time this game could be really, really good. Right now I see the groundwork for a game that could be on par with Dead by Daylight with it's own community independent from Dead by Daylight but with many players who cross over back and forth.

Personally while I find the theme behind Dead by Daylight to be more interesting, and the lore and backstory behind each of the characters and the entity itself just as much. I see the same kind of thing in DeathGarden, an interesting lore set in a dystopian future filled with a rich history of war, rebellion, alliances, etc.

I really hope the game doesn't die, if it survives through its early access it can really truly be something.

It's such a shame when promising games like this die because they aren't given a proper chance.
I want my money back, such a big fail.. :steamsad:

Everyone should keep in mind the price was most likely decided by the marketing department and the actual devs who are working on the game every single day have nothing to do with it. They probably understand the price is too much, but cannot do anything about it.
