The message I got was too long for me to remember. But it was nice, I think.
I got «The first time we understand death is when it reaches someone we love» or something along those lines.
Friggin wrecked me this game.
And I got "It's not the destination that matters but the journey to it. I will never forget you"
I think your remarks are quite beautiful. Please don't worry about how you felt when you made them. :)
And at the end I got "I wish we spent more time together".
The moment I saw the giant tree at the end, I knew the message I sent in earlier would play a part. I actually got a very similar message too. I can't exactly remember, but it said something along the lines of "I will always love you. Now and forever." I was very stoked :D

Now I`m glad, that I wrote it in english. So I could pass it in the game to being a part of it. It was a wonderful adventure. Sadly, I don`t recognize, which quote I got myself. (Was to long)
And my tree said "I'm sorry I was late... I hope you can forgive me someday"
In the end I get "I'm sorry, I tried my very best to find you but it didn't end well. Love you"
P.S. for those who did not notice - game save screenshots of you own and tree message into main user images folder - at least on macOS they were in Pictures folder
I got: " It's no the destination that define us, but the journey to that destination. I'll never forget you"
