(spoilers) What did you write on the tree and what did the tree say at the end?

Dont know if theres gonna be a way to see what users wrote on the tree so i wanted to make a post asking about it!
it feels like a personal experience so i wasnt sure about asking but i am curious...

I wrote on the tree “Sometimes things just happen. The universe doesn’t mean to hurt you.” (or something along that line, i cant recall my first sentence exactly now)

and the tree at the end said "Thank you for making everything right."

The message I got was too long for me to remember. But it was nice, I think.

I wrote a lot of things... about not being able to keep them safe.
And at the end I got "I wish we spent more time together".

The moment I saw the giant tree at the end, I knew the message I sent in earlier would play a part. I actually got a very similar message too. I can't exactly remember, but it said something along the lines of "I will always love you. Now and forever." I was very stoked :D

It was kinda strange for. I played the game on german and wanted to write a german sentence first. But then I stopped, waited a few seconds and wrote this:

Now I`m glad, that I wrote it in english. So I could pass it in the game to being a part of it. It was a wonderful adventure. Sadly, I don`t recognize, which quote I got myself. (Was to long)

Can't remember any last game or movie that made me cry, but this game did. Right when I get to first tree with fox. So all I was capable to write was "I love you"
In the end I get "I'm sorry, I tried my very best to find you but it didn't end well. Love you"

P.S. for those who did not notice - game save screenshots of you own and tree message into main user images folder - at least on macOS they were in Pictures folder
