How to catch the bunnies?

Hi! I read you have to chase and touch the bunnies for some achievement. Idk, am I just too dumb? I run after the bunnies but I never get closer to them because we're equally fast. Is there a trick to catch them? I tried jumping, but though the fox only jumps in the air and not forward, it didn't help.

i didn't know this was an achievement and just walked right up to them! I think I was "running"
