How do you activate the three rocks?

I'm going crazy over not being able to activate the three rocks (the third level I think) in order to progress... I've watched walkthroughs but nothing helps. It still says 0/3 even though I've found all three rocks! I've tried standing on them, jumping on them, walking around them etc. Help me :(

Little late of a reply, okay a lot late but I will explain anyways.

You need to stand on the rock, and when the little point of light goes down, you need to click. Or you can just spam click your mouse, that usually works too X3

Yeah, these pictograms also irritated me. I looked at the two alternating images several times without realizing what they wanted to tell me. The one with the fox looking down reminded me on the digging, so I thought I would maybe have to find three buried items in this level before returning here. It was only on the third point of light that more accidentially I captured the light and realized what I really needed to do - wait for the light to come down.

This is one thing that I found a bit unusual about this game: For most parts the "game" is easy - too easy, actually. But at a few times finding out what you have to do is really tricky. This especially holds true for some of the achivements like "Find your name" and "Easter bunny". Even now that I know what to do I wonder how anybody ever found these out ...

i also was stumped by what the obsidian diagrams were telling me to do and am not enthused to pick up at the start of the level now that i exited.
