NEED HELP! Prepping rosters for 2018

For Axis 2018, uniforms will work, but will need help with updating rosters. if you have a team roster ALREADY FINISHED and want it included, please PM or add to this thread.


DON'T FORGET TO SAVE\BACKUP YOUR ROSTERS IF YOU ADDED THEM!! OR...Copy your roster files into the folders before replacing.


REMOVE ALL old NCAA team folders and replace with these. The "x" in the folder names will allow for the college teams to be grouped together on your team-choice menu. You may remove if you choose, does not affect function. College teams cannot be included in franchise at this time, unfortunately, but they can be used in 1 and 2 player games.

If a team fails to launch (white field error), check team folder for cheerleader.jpg, or other missing image files. Sometimes they ...go away...
Grab from another team that works with like colors. Let us know of other issues. This is unofficial, but we stay on top of updates that can change function.

-DollarJunior, Sackmaster ZackMenking, Tyler Forbes have helped create entire conferences in this project.

-NCAA teams only on this link, no NFL. This is the first pack expansion now with all FBS conference teams...we are now starting on FCS.

-"Core" rosters (Starters, 2nd string) are made for ACC, AAC, BIG, BIG12 and SEC based on CURRENT CAMP rosters compiled by media. Most recent names are found here:

This is why there are new names...there are JUCOs and transfers. Remaining conferences do not have rosters. There may be a need to burn that 320 pound redshirt....

"Best-guess" on 2017 Uniforms and alternates also. 2016 and classics are included. Community can help.

-Community roster help needed for PAC12, MAC, CUSA and Sun-belt (we are also building rosters based on current active rosters; college is...variable...). Make sure you keep the "position order" when updating or manipulating rosters.

-Aesthetic help is also welcomed and encouraged, fans are the best quality-control and this sim is a ALL ABOUT customization. See something that needs fixing? Do it. Fix the Template. Share it. See a need for another uniform? Got a cool concept for your school? Build it...share it.

-Skill ratings are NOT accurate yet. These will be adjusted closer to the end of seaon. Feel free to adjust on your own.

-Stadiums can be modded soon so you can manipulate the field hash-marks. I may share some stadium-files for a college-field soon.

-This mod is community-supported, all volunteer-hours and not officially tied to AXIS.

-These teams will NOT work in Franchise mode but that is being fixed from what I understand.

I have tested each team, they do work...also some movie-based teams with accurate movie rosters are included...

You can add more detail...simply go to this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Axis Football 2017\Mods\Team Mods

Go to the team folders, open "uniforms" and find the .pngs, modify, save (backup uni of course)...boom...fixed.

ALSO: Quality control issue: Virginia is mispelled. You can change on your own at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Axis Football 2017\Mods\Team Mods\Virginia Cavaliers\team name.txt

Minor issue... I've found that, playing as Ole Miss, I can't kickoff. I've completely deleted them from the Team Mods folder and added them back from both the FBSPart1 and FBSTeams1 compilations, with no luck. (Also verified my game files.)

The plays show up, but I can't seem to select one to run it. Has anyone else come across this with any other team? Or can someone else replicate the issue?

Still having the same problem with Ole Miss after overwriting with the new folder. Sorry.

Edit: Got it! One of the players (Julius Jalen) had his Skin Tone set to 7. Changing that to anything from 1-6 fixes the problem. If you hadn't mentioned it being an issue with the roster file, I would have had no idea where to start looking.

This is a community game...see something? FIX! Then feel free to reshare. You can post the fixed files here. You can adjust the colors in the team folder on "team colors.txt".
