No sound

Just as simple as that, upon entering the game there was no sound/music. I can still hear Steam Message notification ping, but not the game. Yes, before you asked, I already play around with the Playback Devices stuff. I heard about setting it to 32000KHz, but none of my Playback Devices go less than 44000KHz. Set it to 16bit/44100KHz, still no sound. My sound card is currently Realtek High Definition Audio. Please help, I didn't have this problem when playing a CODEX release. (Yes, I did pirate this game. I felt guilty for not paying such magnificent game.)
