Isn’t it funny how people still hate on Chloe Price even in Life is Strange: Before the Storm?
Seriously, I spoke to some people who felt that David Madsen was the better person than Chloe Price. It’s stupidly insane. It’s like they can’t handle the fact that they were wrong about her. They either A, demonize Chloe and forget all the good things that she did and B, go through mental gymnastics to justify David and his horrible actions. I’m glad Life is Strange: Before the Storm showed us what Chloe has been through. People did the same thing to Kenny in Telltale’s The Walking Dead where they demonized him and ignored all the good things that he did and went through mental gymnastics to justify Jane and her horrible actions. Plus I bet the people that hated on Chloe Price hated William Price as well and acted like she deserved to lose him in the car crash because people were saying that Chloe deserved to be abused by David Madsen and that she’s a loser that deserved every single bad thing that happened to her.

not a surprise that this person is friends with our dearly departed Max Caulfield. I can see why they get along

Anyone that says that David was in the right to hit Chloe is in the wrong.

Didn't your mum tell you, that the world is not the black & white?
Shut the ♥♥♥♥ up

David wasn't the worst stepfather out there, but he did overstep his boundaries with Chloe quite badly. Chloe was hurting from William's death and Max leaving her when she needed her most. David thought he could simply storm the beaches, so to speak, and set Chloe straight. It helped even less that Joyce was the one who invited David into her life in the first place. without Chloe's consent. Need we even mention David slapped her in LiS?
David is a good guy, but he was going about being Chloe's new dad completely the wrong way. Using force of any kind against Chloe wasn't going to get him anywhere. Not to mention the cameras in the Price household in LiS. David is a good guy, but he does have issues.

I don’t agree with him being a good person. He puts surveillance cameras all over the house and he creeps on teenagers and bullies them.

Look Lilo, seriously ... You opened the three threads in two different forums in a couple of days on the exact same topic that was already answered a dozen of times, and you got all the (hard facts and) answers you might get, which prove why David wasn't that bad and why the Chloe was. Either you can see it or you can't.

On what YOU can or can't agree is irrelevant — you proved that your cognitive capabilities are insufficient to analyze the situation in game by yourself and you proved that you're a believer — it doesn't matter how many facts one presents you, you'll keep believing whatever you believe. Why not simply end?

One thing that some people here like to forget is — David has a military background.

That sort of people is used to “hard discipline” — either to do as commanded, or to expect from others to do as ordered — immediately and without some ifs and when's.

There's no “evil” or “ill intentions” behind that sort of behavior — they do their best, and that's the only way they know. Call it a sort of “brain damage” if you want.

David wasn't the best stepfather ever, but neither the worst. He at least made an effort to become a good stepfather, which many other men in his place wouldn't do.

That slap from the 1st Ep. has to be understood “situationally”, “under the given circumstances” — one has a criminal at home who's using (and evtl. even dealing with) drugs, a thief (first t'shirt, later evtl. the money and even weapons) and somebody who doesn't lose the chance to provoke or insult, even when one's helping them (remember the garage scene from the BTS?).

Somebody else on Davids place, would not only give Chloe one slap, but send her in prison to calm down too. There's just so much that one can do when dealing with that sort of people like Chloe and the patience reaches the end at some point too. Chloe wasn't the victim here, she was “the troublemaker” asking for such treatment ...

Except that David is no longer in military and he has no right to apply that kind of behaviour to others (to whom he isn't official commander).

No, he didn't. He only cared about sassing Joyce, while treating Chloe like some green army recruit assigned to him. David himself admits in LiS ep.5 that he wronged Chloe.

And again you use determinant stuff which David has no knowledge of to back him up. And do prove that Chloe was provoking/insulting David in that garage scene and he was only helping her, because it's exactly the opposite of what you say.

Somebody monstrous - yeah, maybe. Somebody decent would've supported Chloe, earned her trust and helped her deal with stuff instead of antagonizing her at every turn and adding to the pile of crap she was going through.

Don't you realize that there is no point to continue this discussion?

I'm using the same measurement for all — you're not.

My arguments are valid — you're not.

So, why you are still trying?

You twist game's events for your narrative, I don't.

LMAO. There we have it - you pulling "I'm right you're wrong" card after running out of backing arguments. Still the same troll as earlier, I see. Thanks for proving me right. And do work on your grammar.

Yeah, it seems that any attempt at constructive discussion with you is pointless.
