they probably didn't add it to the last 3 games they made. (yes there is 4 of them)

Hi! I tried playing today with a controller. At first it won't register but I was able to play with it successfully. Here's what I did:

Library > LiS: BtS > Manage (setting logo beside "Show more details" and "Add to Favorites") > Manage > Properties > Controller > Enable Steam Input

Let me know if you got it working or if my instruction is unclear...

I have played ALL the Life Is Strange games with an XBox controller. What are you people even talking about ????? Just started the games and the controller worked. Didn't have to do anything. ALL the Life is Strange games have controller support.
It even tells you on the Store Page the games have Full Controller Support

Yeah, a controller should work without you needing to do anything more than connect it.

hey it's 2021 and the controller STILL doesnt work..... yesterday i spent alllll day playing with settings to get it to work and after i uninstalled and reinstalled the game the controller worked.....BUT today it stopped working again after i repaired my controller via bluetooth. now i know it's on the games side and not mine...i cant believe the devs havent fixed this. can anyone help? i dont wanna uninstall and reinstall the game everytime i want to play it. my controller is recognized as a wireless gamepad if that helps? (i have "forced on" setting active, as well as all of the controller input/support settings active.)

This game has full native support for genuine Xbox 360 controllers, Xbox One/Series controllers and XInput controllers. Use anything else that is not XInput compatible (like any PlayStation controller), and you are on your own with emulators and wrappers that attempt to make your incompatible controller map to a virtual XInput controller.
