[Fixed] RT button on 8BitDo controller does not work

Hi, anyone have any luck making the RT button on as a wired 8BitDo SN30 pro controller, work? Holding it is suppose to enable the char to run. Else walking around is way too slow.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work. I found a "nonsensical" solution. Get a XBox 360 controller and plug it in - the hold (XBox) RT button, to run works. Then plug in the 8BitDo controller, and 8BitDo RT also seem to be working now. It seems the XBox provided some linkage for the 8BitDo, is my guess. I reboot the game, unplug the XBox controller and the 8BitDo RT is working fine on its own now.

Good if all game designers consider using toggle buttons to trigger running, rather than holding a button constantly to run. For old gamers like me, our fingers don't work as good, holding a button + pushing the joystick can be tiring and painful.

why youre using 8bit controller if you have xbox controller?

The 8Bitdo controller is smaller, and the RT, RB buttons are easier to reach & pull.

I had the same problem, my RT wasnt working. So I had to go get the upgrade tool from their site (https://support.8bitdo.com/firmware-updater.html) to update the receiver and then I had to go into the app and make my RT pull at 50% being 100%
