So is Samantha...? (SPOILERS)
The first victim of Nathan and Jeff, no?

Right at the end of episode 3, if they end up together, you can see Nathan with a book about photo sessions next to her.

So I get Nathan was in deep a good guy. Until Jefferson came and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ him up.

But that's your problem because in my playthrough Nathan was nice
Remember when Nathan is being bullied by Drew? When Drew picks up his dropped folder and looks at the pictures inside?

"Oh wow. This is some really weird crap, Prescott."

Ok, I should have paid heed to all the signals of denial already. My bad.

Yes. We're supposed to do so. He's like that because of his father. And BtS confirms (at least in my playthrough) that he was nice. Obviously Jeff corrupted him.

I was replaying the episode a minute ago, and wrote down the transcript of the conversation between Mr. Prescott and Sam's mother in the hospital.

"My daughter has two broken ribs!"

"Nathan was clearly defending himself against her unwanted and inappropriate physical contact"

Call it what you will, but I think Nathan had problems long before he met Jefferson. The latter just screwed him up even more.

I agree, Nathan's father screwed him really badly and add bullying here, the kiddo wasn't alright long before he met Jefferson, i think that devs wanted to show this. That's the saddest part about BtS, you can witness all those happy moments, but at the same time you know how story will progress.

Indeed, and then at the end of Episode 3, that Dark Room cutscene was put in for the simple reason that no matter how hard you try, no matter what you do to save Rachel, it's not happening. The only thing you can do is either avenge her death by sacrificing Chloe, or letting her take her revenge by destroying Arcadia Bay. Personally, I chose the latter. AB is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up place anyway, save for a few good people.

Nathan kill rachel and took a selfie with her body, he is evil rotten in the core. But still...I have to thank him for that :steamhappy: (Evil smile)

He obviously isn't lol. But whatever you say.
In mine, the conversation behind the door was between Nathan and Samantha, something about her being injured by a biker and Nathan took a photo he wanted to show to her, presumably of her unconscious. Which is how his interest in unconscious photoshoots starts (like the ones he tried to take of Chloe after drugging her, and of Rachel), I guess. I also got the ending with Nathan sitting next to her with his photo book.
