Text almost impossible to read

Does anyone else have a difficult time reading the text during the talk-back challenges?
I loose half of them because I can not decipher the white text in front of bright backgrounds.
It ruins the fun for me.

I already changed the gamma to the darkest setting and tried to fumble around with resolution settings.

What's missing is a subtle gradient underneath the white letters, like the original LiS game had. Or a black semi-transparent box option like under the subtitles.

Hey there, thanks for the feedback. This is something I've seen reported elsewhere too and have already passed it on to the relevant team here to see what we can do to improve this.

A good option is to be a way to let us change the font of subtitles, there are peoples which have all kind of eye issues and find it difficult to read it.
Personal i had no problem, maybe bcs i use a BAM lol

Honestly, i replayed the game 3 times and it never was a problem for me.. could it be also related to the brightness and stuff like this?

Yeah the should put like a dark grey square over withe letters

no problem for me as i just set " damn big texts " in the settings and it is readable for me ( i agree on your screenshots it is unreadable) ,
can't say that about Chloe's diary though where letters are very small compared to original Life is Strange ( i play on a TV )

"Hella Large". It's like the large print edition.

Also, not sure if I noticed this pre-patch, but besides that, there's a thing called "Semi-Opaque Overlay". Either one should help with the readability issues.

This was a problem for me only once or twice, but I did notice it. I don't think they should change the font or anything though like some have suggested. It's iconic
