Conversation with William in episode 2 (spoilers)

Was it me or does it sound like William is trying to warn Chloe about Rachel Amber? In the second dream sequence he mentions that fire blinds with beauty and that Chloe is so drawn to it she doesn't even realise the danger.

Then he finishes with "Sometimes there's a greater beauty yet to come" For me that almost sounds like he's talking about Max's return. Also at the family meal when Rachel shatter's the dining table. she had a brief moment where she zoned out and then exploded just like in episode one with the fire. Is Rachel perhaps just a little crazy?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, I think in episode 3 we will find something out about Rachel Amber that makes us all not like her as much as we do now, though i could be wrong but it is looking like that is coming...

He warns her about the dangers of love in general.
But her love to Rachel in this particular case, since Rachel seems to be her first love.

Not her first love, Chloe loves Max there is no doubt about that even if they just love each other like sister's from growing up together. Chloe is still deeply hurt by Max leaving her to move to Seattle with her parents and as a "kid" she can't understand that it is not Max's fault that she had to move all she knows is she is gone.

However when ever Chloe refers to Max in BtS you can tell 100% that she still loves Max and misses her a lot, and that is the main reason she falls so hard for Rachel Amber because at this point she needs someone to take Max's place in her life.

I meant the romantic love.
As kids, Chloe and Max where more like sisters than a couple. Best friends forever.
She even discovered her "lesbian side" after Max moved.
Remember her diary entry concerning the blade runner movie.

So Rachel is likely to be the first person, chloe fell into a passionate love with.
Thats what william tells her after the junkyard scene in ep1,
and later warns her about it in ep2

I agree 100%. William is warning her that Rachel is the fire. While pretty and intoxicating to be around she is ultimately selfish. But once she gets past all that she will find something even better aka Max. Since Rachel just wants Chloe to save her. Max loves Chloe just for being Chloe not what Chloe could do for her.

Well, we know that things don't work out between Chloe and Rachel in the long run. Rachel and Chloe never make it out of Arcadia Bay. Rachel has a relationship with Frank, which she hides from Chloe. There are also the other relationships Rachel has that are alluded to in Season 1. With Mr. Jefferson, for instance.

So, William's warning may be about the short term, and we may see something happen in Episode 3, or his warnings may be referencing Rachel's unpredictability in the long term which leads into Season 1.

i was way more intrigued about Frank's clouds dream thing, does that mean anything?
and william had a raven beside him, also the ravens shirt chloe has the option to wear (i totally chose that one)

When Chloe first read about the cloud in Franks Diary i thought of the cyclone in life is strange but then figured thats years away. The cloud could be the forest fire, Cloud = Smoke. I would love to know the symbolisem behind the whole crow eliment. It's showing up everywhere.
