Bug with Truck in Ep 2 on Junkyard

So. I play this game on the 2nd savegame. I'm currently on the junkyard and Cloe needs to find the battery.

But the truck is already "decorated" with the stuff I chosed on the 1st savegame. I can't interact with any cars on the junkyard to find another battery.

This sucks, because this savegame is based on other decisions I made earlier to see other paths of the story.

Ah I see. Guess we'll have to wait for a solution.
You think that 2nd savegame got broke and I have to replay Ep1?

I've looked into it. Appearently you have to backup your finished save game, if you want to keep it. Then delete all save games. After that start a new game and once you've done the junkyard scene, it should be back to normal and your backed up save can be copied back to where it belongs. Which is found here:
C:\Users\UsernameHere\AppData\LocalLow\Square Enix\Life is Strange_ Before the Storm\Saves

Thanks for your post.
So I'll have to save my 1st savegame, then copy it elsewhere?
Then start a new game using savegame slot 2?

Yes it is definitely a bug and something Deck Nine needs to look at, I don't really feel like copying files and moving them as on post suggests but if they don't fix it I guess I might have to...

Chloe see's the truck, starts to swing the bat to bash it and stops. Then she opens the hood and pulls out the useless battery and then turns away from the truck to look at the rest of the junkyard while saying to herself, "Ok, now to see what the rest of this place/junkyard has to fix this truck" or something like that. Then if you look at the truck you can see the towel already installed on the seat and if you enter the truck you can look at both the towel and the floor mat installed but then if you leave the truck interior she will still say she needs to find the battery...

So they either need to auto install everything so the game can continue or they need to make it work like it is supposed to so WE, as Chloe, make the fixes to the truck. You can not find the lightbulb or the towel and you can not do anything to the impounded truck except look at the impound nottice attached to its window... you can't open the hood of that truck so there is no way to get the battery out and take it back to the older truck...and hence no way for the game to continue...
