[SPOILERS] Game theory: How Rachel ended up with Frank

I have a theory about how Rachel ends up with Frank IF she has a relationship with Chloe.
I think the really canon choices in BtS are those that end up Chloe and Rachel in a relationship, because Chloe really loved Rachel in the original game, and she would have chosen "Something more" and "Give me a kiss" without a doubt.

So this is my theory:
after being let down by her father (knowing it from Chloe or out-of-screen if Chloe chooses to not tell her the truth), Rachel became obsessed with the thought of leaving Arcadia Bay. She still loved Chloe, but her love slowly faded away and the obsession of leaving Arcadia Bay took its place in Rachel's thoughts. Chloe wasn't really reliable about leaving Arcadia Bay for various reasons: she had not the money and the means to leave Arcadia Bay. Rachel priority slowly began leaving Arcadia Bay and not leaving Arcadia Bay with Chloe. So she hooked up with Frank, using him, cheating Chloe and hoping that his drug dealing affairs went well so they could leave Arcadia Bay. In the original game Frank admits that he was afraid of Chloe trying to take Rachel away from him. Still, Rachel didn't really love Frank, she was using him. She probably still liked more Chloe. She probably loved Chloe at the beginning (in Before the Storm and maybe 1~2 years after).
Then Jefferson came. Rachel dream of leaving Arcadia Bay came closer knowing that Jefferson could easily make her dream come true. So she tried to manipulate Jefferson, tried to make him fall for her (or falling for him), cheated Frank (and double-cheated Chloe). Unfortunately this was her end. Her obsession of leaving Arcadia Bay no matter what costed her life.
But I think that Chloe was her first love and until the end Rachel cared about her.
That makes me sad a lot, and yes, Eliot was right: Rachel was fake, she cheated Chloe and manipulated her and Frank. But probably her feelings for Chloe were true, her obsession blinded her mind.

When Max talks to Nathan in the diner Nathan says that she was just using Frank for drugs and really wasn't any relationship there. I think Frank wanted one but according to Nathan there wasn't a relationship.

I know there some sort of stream in which the 2nd set of developers said that Rachel letter in the junkyard was talking about Jefferson but I think I don't believe it and the developers were just creating controversy for some reason. The letter doesn't fit rachel's motive for getting out of Arcadia Bay because Jefferson had just gotten there and accepted a teaching position and there's no way he was going to leave at that point bc he had too many subjects to photograph in a new territory.

But Jefferson had loads of money and influence. My personal theory has always been that Rachel used both Frank and Jefferson to make money for herself to get out of Arcadia Bay, with Chloe of course. But she couldn't really tell Chloe that now, could she?

I might buy that Rachel was using Frank for both drugs and money and that maybe she was selling drugs with frank and wa pocketing the money she'd make and Nathan just didn't know about that part.

We know from captain spirit that Jefferson did actually have a book published but since captain spirit happened after life is strange we don't know whether Jefferson published any other books she would have wanted to take pictures for. We know he was a well known photographer though. So it's possible that she might have been trying to use him for a stepping stone contact but as far as a relationship I can't see her using him knowing that he is not going to be leaving Arcadia Bay anytime soon...

Jefferson might have provided easily money and devices to go away from Arcadia Bay.
I replayed LiS just in these days (yesterday I ended the game) and Jefferson said 2 things that make me think about Before the Storm:
1) Jefferson says to Max in the Dark Room that Rachel and Chloe probably are now "banging in heaven", highly implying that they did have a relationship probably more deep than a simple friendship.
2) Jefferson knew that Rachel wanted to go to LA and he said "LA would have killed her anyway". This highly implies that Rachel told Jefferson about her dream and trusted him until he and Nathan killed her.

About Rachel and Frank, I'm almost 100% sure that she was using him and didn't really feel anything. As they already said in this thread, Nathan told to Max that Rachel was using Frank just for getting his drugs (he might be exaggerating maybe).
Frank in the diner at the end of the game said that Rachel was young and he was sure she would have left him sooner or later. As I already said, Frank said that he was really jelous about Chloe and Rachel and he knew that Rachel really loved Chloe.
I think my theory is pretty solid.

Nathan in the diner says that she was just using him and there was no relationship. Frank's statement about she would have left him anyway implies that they were dating but not that they had any sort of real sexual relationship. When you put those 2 things together it looks like Frank wanted a sexual relationship but according to Nathan they didn't happen and she was just around for the drugs.

A far is Jefferson goes it's not really a great leap of trust to tell somebody that you wanna go to LA and be an actress. People tell the people things like that all the time without really meaning anything deep. If you found the letter in the junk carried it just doesn't suit Jefferson in that hook up che ws talking about. So yes she did hook up with somebody but I don't think it was Jefferson...
