Life is Strange: Before the Storm 21:9 2560 X 1080 Ultra Wide Screen FIX!!!!
I have 2560 X 1080 Resolution and this tutorial will allow the game to be played in 2560 X 1080. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there is not currently a way to play on any higher resolution... HOWEVER, I recommend doing this fix anyways because 2560 X 1080 will probably look much better on a 3440 X 1440 rather than the 1920 X 1080.

Simply follow these steps to add ulra wide settings (this takes like 2 minutes):

1. You will need to replace some files. Go to this forum page: http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=32282
and scroll down to download the 2 files called "LISBTS_V2.part1.rar" Download part 2 as well. Just save them to your desktop to easily work with them.

2. Extract part 1 to your Life is Strange - Before the Storm directory. Immediately following, extract part 2 to the directory as well. (For Steam users that should be Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> steamapps ->common -> Life is Strange Before the Storm.)

3. Start the game and change the video settings to 2560 X 1080.

Enjoy! This worked for me, it should work for you as well. One of the biggest benefits of doing this is that your game is improved without having to launch the game in any specific way. You can launch it from your desktop or Steam.

Edit: The instructions I originally gave were a little more complicated. This has been much more simplified.

In fact, it worked perfectly  . However, this operation prevents Steam from connecting to Square's servers ... So all online interaction is lost.

Do you know how to fix this?

Err... no. I didn't even realize that happened. It doesn't bug me personally, but if it bugs you, I honestly don't think there even is an existing fix for that. I'm sure it's possible to connect to the servers if you were a genius and knew the code to change it. If by chance you do find/figure out a fix, please add it here so everyone knows.

Is there any way to change the FoV?
The Dot Net Spy method wouldn't let me compile.

Honestly, I'm not sure if there is a way. My FoV is honestly perfect with no complaints and tbh you make me scratch my head because with this resolution you really shouldn't need to adjust the FoV.

2560X1080 resolution on any appropriate screen should theoretically show nearly identical. If you have an issue with the FoV I really don't know an answer, even though I'm sure it's possible to adjust. I just don't know how.
