Crossplay Questions (Played LIS on X1)

I'm not sure if this game has any effect on LIS 2 or if LIS1 has any effect on this but are saves cross platform like with what Tell Tale has done with The Walking Dead where you can upload your saves choices and continue the next game on any platform or should I buy these on Xbox One instead/ Buy LIS 1 and playthrough it again on PC?

Been trying to find an answer but doing my best to avoid spoilers and couldn't find anything

No, there's no platform for this game.
As they told us, Chloe, Max and Rachel will be totally out of LiS 2.

Actually the developers said in a live stream after E3 that Life is Strange 2 WILL recognize our ending decision from Life is Strange and it will influence SOMETHING in the game.
But they did not say if we are talking full blown save game import or if they just ask you some questions at the start.

Thing is though you can have three different games going for Life is Strange so you can have both endings saved and choose either one or both and play the game twice...
